Holidays at the Club Family Hotel Village Milano Marittima are all about games, fun and relaxation from morning to night, with no worries thanks to our full All Inclusive® Open Bar services. And when evening comes, if you’re looking for ideas for a family night out, you’ll find plenty of summer events that make your stay in MiMa even more special. Just a few minutes from the hotel, unique markets and creative walks are waiting for you – perfect to enjoy with the kids after a day at the beach.
- MiMa Vintage Market – the “treasure hunt” of reuse (🚩 between Rotonda I° Maggio and Via Forlì)
The MiMa Vintage Market is a big vintage and collectors’ market where you can find unique pieces: from antique furniture to jewellery, prints and sculptures; but also carpets, fabrics, lace, ceramics and quirky objects that tell stories (perfect to spark kids’ imagination). It’s a fun way to talk about reuse and sustainability: these objects already exist, they don’t waste new resources and often become family keepsakes. A journey through time with carefully curated stalls and exhibitors from all over Italy.
💡 Tip: give your kids a little “find & tell” list (a vinyl record, an old illustrated book, a wooden object) and ask them why they’d pick it: fun guaranteed and a mindful choice!
- Vialetto degli Artisti – a creative walk in the open air (🚩 Canalino 1° Traversa)
On summer weekends and every evening in August, the Vialetto degli Artisti turns the Canalino of Milano Marittima into an open-air art gallery. Along the way you’ll meet painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramicists and young designers. Kids will be fascinated by the colours, shapes and materials, while parents get the chance to discover unique creations and pick a truly special souvenir. The evening atmosphere, with soft lights and the sea breeze, makes the walk magical for the whole family.
💡 Tip: stroller-friendly area (we provide it at the hotel!) and a slow pace so no one gets tired – alternate “kids’ favourite stalls” with “grown-ups’ stalls” to keep everyone engaged.
- Il Giardino dei Semplici – scents, well-being and little green experiments (🚩 between Rotonda I° Maggio and Viale Bologna)
When evening falls, Milano Marittima fills with fragrances: at the Giardino dei Semplici you’ll find a special market dedicated to nature, organic products and herbs. Stalls feature herbal remedies, natural and organic foods, medicinal plants, dried flowers, bee products, but also minerals, fossils, specialised books and eco-friendly local crafts. It’s easy to turn the visit into an outdoor workshop: smell the herbs, guess the scents, discover how honey is made. A calm and curious experience loved by the whole family.
💡 Tip: bring a small notebook: kids can jot down “the herb that smells like…”, “the colour of the pollen”, “the funniest plant”. Memories to treasure!
